Iran: Authorities resume flights at airports nationwide after Israeli missile attack April 19 /update 1

Iran resumes flights at airports nationwide after Israeli missile attack April 19. Residual flight disruptions likely.

Critical

Iranian authorities have lifted flight restrictions across the country as of the morning of April 19 following the Israeli attack in Isfahan earlier in the day. The Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company (IAC) had temporarily suspended flights in several cities, including Isfahan, Shiraz, and Tehran. Several airlines have also diverted their flights away from Iranian airspace or suspended flights to Iran.

Residual flight disruptions are likely through April 19, even after the suspension is lifted, as airlines work to clear any flight backlogs that materialize.

Confirm flight reservations if scheduled to travel via an Iranian airport. Do not check out of accommodations until onward travel is confirmed. Consider making alternative arrangements for time-sensitive travel if necessary.
